This movie reminds me of "The Big Lebowski," specifically the part where Jeff Bridges screams at John Goodman, "What's your fucking point, Walter?!" I want to grab Bud Lee by his obnoxious gray ponytail and ask him the same question, preferably with a sidearm to his head. Barring that felonious act, I'll resolve myself to speculation. The point is that there is no point. Bud probably wanted to work in some death angle or play up the idea of "misery leading to sex." The problem is that he's not creatively gifted and prefers minimal use of dialogue to maximize sex time. Much appreciated, but it leaves a lot of loose ends to be glossed over by gratuitous pussy shots.

At the risk of sounding Seinfeldian: what's the deal with serious bummer stories in porn? I doubt that anyone looks to the adult industry for compelling drama. In fact, putting the two together seems completely ludicrous. If you're whacking off to porn, then you're potentially lonesome and unhappy already. Popping in a video where the story begins with a funeral isn't going to help. The whole lead-in to Dee and Holly throws a dark cloud over their encounter. By the time that they get around to dyking out, it's hardly an appropriate course of action. Way to go, Bud. You took what should have been an outstanding lesbian scene and made it depressing.

Mandy Bright is not the first female that I would cast in a feature. She couldn't crack my top 100. The reason is very simple: she doesn't speak English! Why bother hiring a thoroughly clueless Euro whore in a domestic movie when there are plenty of clueless whores in porn valley who at least speak the language? Apparently, Bud needed somebody to make T.J. Cox look good. He couldn't read a Dr. Seuss book with any sort of conviction. However, I'm kidding myself if I think that either of them is here for their acting. They throw down a solid scene, but mostly thanks to Mandy. What's fucked up about this scene is that Bud grabs shots at a real cemetery before cueing in Christie and Scott. Those flowers are for somebody who actually died. Doesn't that seem like a major scumbag move? There are certain lines of respect that don't need to be crossed for the sake of production value in porn. At any rate, that's just my opinion. It's barely ninety seconds of footage anyway. Afterwards, Dee, Christie and Scott put on a sexually arousing show that is totally out of context with the story. Talking about her dead whomever makes Dee want to have lesbian sex. This is twice now that the conversation has gone from "I miss him so much" to immediately French kissing her consoling friend.

This movie ended up striking a nerve with me because of its subject matter. It's centered on an Internet blogger who writes about sex. A loose association, I admit - however, the kinship that I feel with my fellow Internet wordsmiths is fairly all encompassing. This woman, Karina, answers letters on her website from people confused about sex-related issues. The questions and her advice are played out in the form of sex scenes . . .duh, and you've got yourself an adult video. The story is decent. It wraps up nicely after plenty of fucking. My only qualm was with the nature of Karina's responses. Now I know why ethnic minorities hate stereotypes.
