I figured this would happen when I saw that this was the last volume in the series. Yup, they phoned it in. I'm literally dejected. After the enormous success of "Welcome to the Valley 5," the thought did occur to me that they wouldn't be able to follow it up. Sure enough, porn lets me down once again. This one seems so bland by comparison. Perhaps more footage of Billy Tyler at the adult convention could have been funny. Sadly, it looks like he'll never get to fuck Taylor Rain. Even Nick Manning couldn't save this one from disappointing mediocrity.

You know - for all the smack that people talk about Kurt Lockwood, he must be doing something right to land such consistent hotties as girlfriends. Samantha Ryan is still the reigning champion in my mind. She's a megatron star and a welcome addition to any movie. Even if 9 times out of 10 she's fucking old Kurt, there are worse offenses in the world. Everyone can endure a spot of ass licking for the sake of Samantha. The only negative aspect about this one in particular is that it's so . . .normal. I've come to hold WTV to a higher standard because of its huge success in the past. For as strong as this scene is, it seems slightly askew.

Now here are a couple of cats that I didn't expect to see in a picture like this. Alex Divine seems totally out of place. Johnny typically casts much more attractive talent. But Byron Long is a welcome addition. Fuck, the guy has been in so many scenes that he's achieved legendary status. He's exactly the caliber of star that this series thrives on. Sadly, the pairing ends up being uneventful, especially given their context in the movie, which is none. Anyone who enjoys interracial will certainly like it, but don't expect to have your hair blown back.

This is the best of the series by far. In fact, I doubt if I've ever seen a more entertaining porn title. That's not to say the sex is better than everything else out there. Although Vanessa Lane's scene with Nick Manning is the new standard by which all others from this moment forward shall be judged. It's the greatest fucking ever caught on-camera. All that aside, the rest of "Welcome to the Valley 5" can stand on its own merit as well. Dick Smothers Jr. is wildly hilarious.
